Nebraska public television is looking for pictures, video, film and memorabilia from Omaha's Rosenblatt Stadium to help produce a documentary on the old ballpark.
A new downtown ballpark will replace Rosenblatt next year. The site of Rosenblatt will be used to expand the Omaha Zoo.
Scheduled for completion next spring or summer, the documentary
from NET Television will provide an in-depth look at Rosenblatt,
with interviews and segments not seen in previous productions.
The stadium was built in 1947 and hosted the College World Series for the 61st, and last, time in June.
For more information about offering to loan memorabilia to help
produce the documentary, contact Sue Maryott at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 402-472-9333, extension 285.
