Nebraska Wesleyan snapped its losing streak last week with a much needed win over Dordt, 27-7. This week the Prairie Wolves face the red hot Concordia Bulldogs for the NWU homecoming game. Concordia has won four straight games, including last week's 17-16 upset over #11 Northwestern.
Saturday will be the 51st meeting in football between
Nebraska Wesleyan and Concordia in a series that started in
the 1958 season. NWU holds a 32-18 advantage in the alltime
The NWU-Concordia series has been dominated by the
home team. The Prairie Wolves have won 13 of the last
14 meetings that were played in Lincoln dating back to the
1983 season. The lone win for Concordia was a 27-20 win in
2002. Overall, NWU is 18-5 against Concordia at home.
NWU is only 14-13 in games played at Seward.
