A Nebraska Panhandle man has pleaded no contest to charges that he sexually assaulted two girls over nearly eight years.
53-year-old Alejandro Saucedo, of Morrill, entered the plea to charges of first-degree sexual assault of a minor and third-degree sexual assault of a child on Friday in Scotts Bluff County District Court.
Authorities say one of the girls was 9 when the assaults began in 2003.
The girls are teenagers now.
Saucedo was arrested in September after the father of one of the
girls found text messages.
Saucedo's sentencing is set for March 9.
