The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will consider staff recommendations for 2012 big game regulations at its next meeting.
There will be a public hearing on recommendations for a new 126-day River Antlerless deer season, a hearing on legal hunting equipment and a hearing on Lake Wanahoo boating regulations.
Commissioners also will consider a proposal to acquire an 880-acre tract in Dawes County to be managed for wildlife, hunting and other recreation.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on Friday at Game and Parks' Lincoln headquarters, 2200 N. 33rd St.
