Firearm and military memorabilia collectors scored a hit Sunday at Grand Island's Fonner Park.
It was the 45th Annual Gun & Sport show, sponsored by the Nebraska Muzzle Loading Rifle Association.
Admissions fees help support the club's rifle range and firearm education efforts.
Hundreds of dealers were on hand for the event, displaying everything from modern weapons to military mementos.
Muzzle loaders may not be the latest thing, but they still have their fans.
"Muzzle loading is fun. Muzzle loading is shooting with a rifle or a pistol, but instead of putting in cartridges, you're putting the powder in, and then the ball, and so you're muzzle-loading the gun, and then you shoot with the black powder one ball at a time," said Nebraska Muzzle Loading Rifle Association member, Solveig Knott.
Some of the collectible firearms at the show included a Swiss cartridge-loading rifle from the late eighteen hundreds, and a Nebraska centennial pistol made in 1967.
