From the City of Grand Island:
The city of Grand Island Public Works Department was notified that Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad has planned track maintenance work at the Broadwell Avenue and Webb Road crossings on Wednesday, August 1.
The Broadwell Avenue crossing will be closed from 7 to 11 a.m. on August 1.
Traffic will be detoured west to U.S. Highway 281. The Webb Road crossing is planned to be closed from noon to 4 p.m. on August 1.
This maintenance work is not related to the Burlington Northern Santa Fe double track project.
