Some talented Grand Island area middle and high school students students had a chance to see their art work on one of the areas biggest canvases, and it had them celebrating this afternoon.
The Stuhr Museum held a reception for the Hall County Student Art Show, displaying more than a thousand paintings, drawings, and sculptures.
Some works, like the life-sized buffalo sculptures, are already gaining notoriety.
Even students without an art career in mind enjoyed displaying their works...
Student artist Cody Brown: "I don't really feel like a Picasso, but it makes me proud that I have one here."
Hundreds turned out for the event.
