A 42-year-old former Good Samaritan employee accused of stealing from the hospital's pharmacy is facing new charges in Buffalo County Court.
Robin Scheele originally faced felony charges of fraudulently obtaining possession of a controlled substance. Monday, she pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of attempt to possess a controlled substance by fraud.
Scheele is accused of taking 20 Adderall pills from the Good Samaritan Hospital pharmacy in September. Hospital officials discovered the missing pills following an audit, and an internal investigation led to Scheele's questioning and later firing.
The new charge could be punishable with a maximum $1,000 fine or up to one year in jail, or both.
