Troopers out of the Nebraska State Patrol's North Platte office are investigating the death of a Harlan County chief deputy sheriff.
According to a statement from the patrol, 56 year old Kevin Einspahr, of Alma, died Friday morning.
The cause appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to the statement.
