A 21-year-old Grand Island man has been given three years in federal prison for not reporting a methamphetamine sale.

A news release from the office of U.S. Attorney Deborah Gilg says Alejandro Robles also must serve a year of supervised release when he gets out of prison.

Robles had pleaded guilty to misprision of a felony, meaning he knew a crime was committed but didn't report it.

Prosecutors say Robles was one of the people present during a meth sale.
