It's part of a $40,000 dollar to update the downtown area in Hastings.
Property and business owners, as well as City Council and City Planning, are being asked to share their ideas for the project.
The planning process will address parking, biking, traffic concerns, and properties that could possibly be redeveloped.
Some Hastings residents have ideas of what they would like to see happen.
"I'd probably like to see a teen club or something. Something for teens where you can go out and dance and have fun," said Greg Lamborn.
Sara Fitz said, "I'd like to see a few more sit down restaurants. There's not a whole lot to do down here at night. Nothing stays open and it would be nice if something stayed open a little later."
The meetings to discuss possible ideas are set for November 7th and 8th in Hastings City Council Chambers.
Officials say the planning process will take about 6 months.
