In the wake of the Connecticut school shooting, people are already talking about strict gun control.
The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence lists Connecticut as one of the top five states in the United States with the strongest gun control laws.
One local firearms dealer says more laws are not the answer.
"We here in Nebraska, we feel for these people. They're a long ways away, but we feel for them. Our prayers are with them, but please don't blame the gun. The gun was not the problem. It was the person behind it that was the problem," said Clark Williams, owner of Old Market Firearms in Hastings.
According to that Brady score card, Nebraska has some of the weakest laws to prevent gun violence.
