An Adams County jury has convicted a Hastings man of sexually assaulting a child.
Forty-one-year-old Luis Gonzalez Hernandez was accused of assaulting a 9-year-old boy last year. He claimed he fell asleep watching a movie and woke up to find the boy in his bed.
A jury on Thursday found him guilty of first-degree sexual assault of a
child. Online court records show no sentencing date is set.
