A 24-year-old Hastings man has been given 10 to 15 years in prison for helping burn down a Juniata mobile home in 2008.
Currey Purvis also was sentenced to five to six years on a drug charge because he was on probation when the arson was committed. The two sentences are to be served at the same time.
Purvis had pleaded no contest on Jan. 30. In return to the plea, prosecutors dropped a burglary charge.
Authorities say Purvis, his brother Cash, and another man, Ryan Sharp, broke into the Juniata home owned by Eric Edwards on Sept. 13, 2008.
Cash hasn't been sentenced yet. Sharp was sentenced Feb. 13 to two years of probation for accessory to a felony.
