A JBS Swift employee is still recovering after an assault at the plant on Friday.
Grand Island Police say the 24-year-old was working on the meat processing line when one of his coworkers got angry and hit him in the face with a meat hook.
Authorities say the victim was taken to Saint Francis Medical Center for treatment on cuts on his face and lip.
Police are still investigating the case.
"Right now they're in the process of interviewing coworkers, bosses out at Swift so hopefully this should be an easier case to solve," said Officer Butch Hurst.
No arrests have been made.
Police say the victim waited until Tuesday morning to report the assault to authorities because he didn't know it hadn't been reported Friday night.
