An escaped juvenile is back in custody after fleeing from the Hall County Courthouse Tuesday afternoon.
Grand Island Police Sgt. Jim Duering said the state ward was being transported by a private company to the courthouse when she got out of her wrist shackles and escaped.
Duering said she was still wearing leg shackles when she was captured a few blocks away.
Our 10/11 cameras caught the capture in the 200 block of South Oak Street.
This is at least the second juvenile to escape a private transport company this month in Grand Island.
Duering could not say if it was the same company.
