From the City of Kearney:
The Nebraska Department of Roads and the City of Kearney announce that beginning Friday, March 16, 2012, 11th Street from a half mile east of Antelope Avenue to a half mile east of Cherry Avenue will be closed to east-west traffic.
The existing Cherry Avenue will remain open to allow north-south traffic through the 11th Street intersection.
This closure will allow the contractor to continue grading and paving work necessary to build the new 11th Street connections for the Cherry Avenue Bypass Project.
The 11th Street closure is expected to last approximately two months, weather permitting.
