A Wisconsin police chief who was arrested in Nebraska on sexual assault and other charges in his home state has agreed to return to Wisconsin.
29-year-old Shay Larson waived extradition in Buffalo County Court on Monday.
The judge says Larson will be turned over to Wisconsin authorities no
later than March 15.
Larson is police chief in the village of Readstown, Wisconsin.
He's charged in Vernon County with sexual assault, misconduct in public office, disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer.
Larson was taken into custody on March 2 at a truck stop near the Elm Creek interchange on Interstate 80 in central Nebraska.
