Three of the Republican candidates for Nebraska's open U.S. Senate seat will debate a final time next week before the May 15 primary election.
Nebraska Attorney General Jon Bruning, state Treasurer Don Stenberg, and state Sen. Deb Fischer will participate in the Tuesday night debate in Omaha.
A fourth candidate, Schuyler businessman Pat Flynn, was not invited to participate in the debate, even though he has been actively campaigning for the nomination for more than a year.
The debate takes place at 7 p.m. and will be televised live on
public television station NET Television.
