Authorities say fog may have been partly to blame for a crash involving Scotts Bluff County Judge James Worden.
Worden was not injured in the Friday morning crash. The Nebraska State Patrol says Worden was traveling south on the state Highway 71 bypass shortly before 8 a.m. Friday when an eastbound car pulled in front of Worden's car.
The patrol says 53-year-old Lester Foster, of Gering, was driving the other car. Both car sustained thousands of dollars of damage, and Foster was ticketed in the crash.
The patrol says Worden was wearing a seat belt, but Foster was not.
