A 36-year-old man has been given 30 to 50 years in prison for attacking a rural Henderson woman after breaking into her home.

Jeremy Foster, of Lincoln, is already serving a 45-year sentence for crimes committed in Butler County on the same day in 2008.

York County District Judge Alan Gless sentenced Foster on Monday for burglary, assault and strangulation convictions.

The sentences will be served at the same time but will begin after he's served his Butler County sentence.

Authorities say Foster broke into the woman's home on Aug. 14, 2008. He hit her and choked her.

Authorities say Foster became worried by sounds from outside, so he stole three guns and left.

The woman was treated later at a hospital.
