Nebraska Joins 11 Other States in Lawsuit Challenging New EPA Rule

Updated: 06/30/2015 - Nebraska Attorney General Doug Peterson joined with Attorneys General from twelve other states in filing a lawsuit against the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) over the EPA’s new rule defining “Waters of the United States” under the Clean Water Act.

Fourth Case of Bird Flu Found in Nebraska | New County Involved

Updated: 05/28/2015 - The Nebraska Department of Agriculture (NDA) in conjunction with the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has confirmed preliminary testing shows the presence of a fourth case of highly pathogenic H5N2 avian influenza (HPAI) in Nebraska. This case has been found at a farm in Knox County.
