Farm Credit Services is being recognized for its efforts to attract and retain younger workers.

The Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce recently gave Farm Credit its 2012 Young Professionals Choice award.

Farm Credit was chosen out of 76 applicants after employees and executives at the business were interviewed.

Farm Credit has its own internal young professionals network to help its employees develop. It has about 1,100 employees in 42 cities.

The company will be recognized at a Feb. 29 luncheon.
