Nebraska Legislature Schedules Hearings

Nebraska state lawmakers have set hearings so they can take a deeper look at legislation.

The Agriculture Committee is scheduled to talk Tuesday about proposed changes in livestock brand inspection area boundaries and the dairy industry.

The Banking, Commerce and Insurance will discuss public fund deposits and transfers and real estate licensing.

The Transportation Committee will tackle vehicle titles, parking permits for disabled people, and federal vehicle provisions.

The Urban Affairs Committee will discuss local government, local leadership and housing agency rules.
