Nebraska to Hold Meeting on Livestock Diseases

Veterinarians and emergency crews will be joining forces in Kearney for an annual meeting on emergency responses to livestock diseases.

The two-day meeting involves state and federal officials as well as researchers from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and Colorado State University. Topics include homeland security issues, foreign animal diseases and business planning.

The meeting is Tuesday and Wednesday.
