The annual Nebraska cow/calf college seminar will discuss issues and management strategies that affect profitability of beef producers.
This year's event is titled "Partners in Progress -- Beef Seminar." It is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the U.S. Meat Animal Research Center and Great Plains Veterinary Education Center near Clay Center.
It is sponsored by University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension's Farmers and Ranchers College.
Seminar topics include new regulations for cattle crossing state lines, prescribed burns that raise forage quality, and an update on federal and state agriculture issues.
