Amanda Radke says she hopes her new children's book will help kids embrace agriculture.

Radke says "Levi's Lost Calf" follows young Levi as he explores a South Dakota cattle ranch in search of a lost calf.

"Hopefully it will help kids fall in love with the cowboy way of life again," Radke said.

She said the book also contains a beef recipe and a vocabulary word list for teachers to use in the classroom.
