Nebraska beef producers who want to build on last year's successes can get help from University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension experts.

On Feb. 8, a daylong workshop for ranchers will be offered at the Gudmundsen Sandhills Lab near Whitman.

The workshop will include a session on grazing strategies in the Sandhills and advice on managing reproduction of a beef herd. UNL
beef specialist Matt Spangler will also discuss the factors
ranchers should consider when selecting bulls.

Anyone interested in attending the workshop should contact the
Central Sandhills Extension office at 308-645-2267 before Jan. 30.
