The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission has approved a new administrative structure that will eliminate some layers of management.
The commission approved the plan Wednesday to replace its three
assistant directors with one deputy director.
As part of the restructuring, all three of the agency's
assistant directors have moved into new jobs. Sam Sidner is now
administrator of the information and education division. Kirk
Nelson will be western regional parks manager. And Roger Kuhn is
administrator of the parks division.
The new deputy director is expected to be named in November.
