The University of Nebraska at Omaha is reminding residents of its Lifelong Learning Initiative, which provides learning opportunities for those aged 50 years and older.
Stimulating and varied classes and activities at UNO help adults to expand their views, challenge their minds and invites them to explore new ideas. There are no grades or tests -- just a wide variety of courses and social events throughout the year.
The Lifelong Learning Initiative will host two open-house sessions this month designed to provide an overview of the program's services. The first takes place on the morning of Sept. 11 at the Thompson Alumni House on the UNO campus.
The second will be held Sept. 12 at The Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
