Nebraskans who receive economic assistance soon will be able to go online to check the status of their cases and get details about the amount of money they're eligible to receive.
A news release from the state Department of Health and Human Services says 70,000 recipients should have received personal identification numbers to use on the ACCESSNebraska site, found through the link below. By mid-October, those numbers can be used to access the benefits information by clicking on "Benefits Inquiry."
The recipients will be able to view benefits information online but not make changes.
