Learn Firsthand with Sensory Safari at the Children's Zoo
Lincoln, Neb. The Sensory Safari introduces children and adults who are blind or visually impaired to the Lincoln Children’s Zoo. This event provides “hands-on” opportunities to explore full size mounts, furs, feet and scales, to smell animal diets, to hear recordings of animal sounds and to engage experts in the wildlife field.

The Sensory Safari introduces children and adults who are blind or visually impaired to the Lincoln Children’s Zoo. This event provides “hands-on” opportunities to explore full size mounts, furs, feet and scales, to smell animal diets, to hear recordings of animal sounds and to engage experts in the wildlife field.
You can register now for the Sensory Safari happening Wednesday, Sept. 22 at the Lincoln Children's Zoo.
Sensory Safari is sponsored by the NE Chapter of Safari Club International, NE Chapter of Sables Club International, Nebraska Center for the Education of Children who are Blind or Visually Impaired, NE Game and Parks commission, Pierson Wildlife Museum and the Lincoln Children’s Zoo.
