An eastern Nebraska family is mourning the death of a 33-year-old father who was killed in a farm accident.
Justin Kunc, of Western, was fatally injured Tuesday while working in a grain bin three miles southwest of Crete.
Crete Fire and Rescue Chief Mahlon Kohl says Kunc's clothing was caught in a sweep auger in the grain bin. Emergency workers cut Kunc free, but he died later at a Crete hospital.
Family members remember Kunc as a hard worker and cowboy who loved what he did. He was also a dedicated father to 4-year-old Tayley and 1-year-old Laney.
Pam Kunc says her son was always willing to help a neighbor in need.
Kunc will be buried Saturday in Wilber.
