The annual Tree of Memories lighting ceremony will take place Monday.
This is the 19th year of the event, which has grown from one to seven trees.
Anyone can take an ornament to the Grand Island Library, register it, and place it on a tree to remember a loved one, said organizer Karen Klein.
A new tree has been added this year for pets.
Another tree recognizes children and infants.
The lighting ceremony will take place at 7:00 p.m., Monday.
