An overloaded outlet, or old wiring may be to blame for a house fire early Tuesday morning in Lincoln.
Fire officials say crews saw smoke coming from the attic of a home at 345 G street when they responded to the call at 2:45 in the morning.
Officials say the fire started around one of the home's electrical outlets and moved through the walls to the attic. Crews were able to put the fire out quickly, assisted by thermal imaging cameras and officials say there was only a couple thousand dollars of damage done.
No one was injured in the fire and the exact cause has not been determined.
