A Lincoln woman trying to sell her wedding ring had it stolen by a potential buyer.
Police say the victim placed an ad in the newspaper to sell her ring worth $4500. Someone responded to the ad and set up a time to look at the ring. Police say the victim met a woman named Cynthia at a coffee house and after the woman tried on the ring she called her fiance to tell him she liked it.
That's when police say the suspect ran out the door, stealing the ring.
Police are looking for a 25 year old blond woman, about 5'6" 125 pounds wearing a sheepskin coat, gray pants and a flannel shirt.
