Fire Hits Nebraska Abortion Clinic

A Bellevue Fire Department officials says a preliminary investigation into a fire at an abortion clinic indicates the blaze may have been accidental.
Jack Syphers with the department says nothing so far indicates this morning's fire at Dr. LeRoy Carhart's clinic was arson.
Syphers says the FBI and other federal investigators were on the scene because federal law requires them to investigate fires at abortion clinics and churches.
Spokesmen for the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the state fire marshal have not returned calls from The Associated Press seeking comment.
