Two Jailed After Abduction

Two Grand Island residents were transferred from the Hall County jail to the Custer County jail Monday.
They're accused of abducting a woman at gunpoint.
News Release from Sherman County Sheriff's Office:
The Sherman County Sheriff's Office, in conjunction with the Nebraska State Patrol investigated an abduction at gunpoint of a 19 year old Loup City woman Savannah Fuller from in front of the bowling alley in Loup City at about 1:00 A.M. Thursday.
Fuller had entered the vehicle willingly as the individuals were known but upon entering a gun was put to her head and her hands were bound.
She was then driven to a location southeast of Loup City where she was tied to a tree and told she would be killed if she told anyone.
The individuals then left her bound to the tree.
Eventually Fuller was able to free herself and walked to Loup City approximately five hours later.
Fuller reported the incident to the Sheriffs Office around 12:15 P.M.
After a search for the crime scene accompanied by the victim was successful, the State Patrol was called for assistance.
As the State Patrol and Sheriffs Office processed the crime scene and prepared search and arrest warrants for the residence of one of the alleged perpetrators anal vehicle involved, they were being monitored in Grand Island by patrol investigators.
While awaiting the warrants the investigators observed the alleged individuals involved exit the residence to leave.
They were contacted, interviewed and subsequently placed under arrest by the investigators based on information gathered earlier.
Christepher M. Mueller, 23 years old, of Grand Island was booked into the Hall. Co. Dept of Corrections under charges of Kidnapping and Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony.
Also booked was Lisa M. Punteney 19 years old of Grand Island for Kidnapping, Terroristic Threats and Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony.
All the above charges are felonies.
Bond was set for both Punteney and Mueller at 10 percent of $500,000 Friday.
Sheriff Janulewicz said the speed with which this was accomplished was a result of excellent co-operation between the victim, State Patrol Investigators, County Attorneys Office and the Sheriffs Office.
