A Lincoln woman lost more than her home to fire yesterday (Friday). Her 11 dogs also were killed.
Angela Coffey says she was out of town on business when the fire broke out. Among the dogs killed were five puppies.
Authorities say the 2 p.m. fire started in the ceiling above the kitchen and likely was caused by an electrical problem.
The state Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the fire.
