Authorities have located 71-year-old Russell Hoppner, who went missing Monday.
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office says Hoppner was found around 12:10 Tuesday afternoon, by law enforcement in Hitchcock County.
The Sheriff's Office says they believe he had driven himself to the Southwest part of the state, and was found safe.
Tuesday, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office began asking for the public's help to locate Hoppner.
Authorities say Hoppner did not return home to Hampton from an appointment in Aurora Monday.
Hoppner is in the early stages of Alzheimer's, according to Hamilton County authorities.
Before being found, Hoppner was last seen in the Aurora area at 3:45 pm on Monday July 20.
