Nebraska is scheduled to take on Michigan State in the Alamo Bowl.

The Cornhuskers will face the Big Ten's Spartans in San Antonio, Texas, on Dec. 29.

The Huskers have a record of 9-3 overall and are ranked Number 22.

Unranked Michigan State enters the game with a record of 8-4.

Nebraska has won all four games it played against Michigan State, most recently a 55-14 win in Lincoln in 1996.

In its most recent trip to the Alamo Bowl in 2000, Nebraska trounced Northwestern in a 66-17 victory and setting a NCAA record for points.

The game will mark Nebraska's 35th consecutive bowl appearance, the longest streak in NCAA history.
