The mother of a two-year-old girl who was beaten to death this summer has pleaded innocent to a child abuse charge.

Diana C Molina was arraigned in Hall County District Court Tuesday. She is accused of allowing her husband to inflict abuse on the girl, resulting in the toddler's death.

Molina's trial was set for late March. She could be sentenced to 20 years to life in prison if convicted.

The girls' father, 21-year-old Germai Molina, is charged with first-degree murder and felony child abuse for the July 23 beating death.

Police say he struck two year old Diana Molina with a belt 60 to 100 times for wetting the bed. His wife has also told police he dropped the girl to the floor and kicked her about ten times.
