According to the Lincoln Police Department, cars parked on all streets could be towed if they should exceed even the 24-hour time limit.
The city says the aggressive towing procedures are part of their winter routine to keep the streets clean from excessive snow.
While they say we are not under any snow emergencies, they will be marking the cars, issuing a warning, and then towing if the vehicle has not been moved.
