Improved Booking Spells Profit for Event Center

The Lancaster Event Center in Lincoln managed to stay out of the red this year.

The center made a $69,120 profit after expenses this fiscal year. That compared with roughly $2,500 made last year.

Charlie Willnerd is the president of the Lancaster County Agricultural Society.

He says booking of the Event Center is continuing to improve.

Willnerd says the center, which is in its third year. has had an economic impact of between $15 and $19 million this year.
