"We were at their mercy."
That's what a victim of a home invasion says after being robbed at gunpoint. The victim and his fiancée were watching a movie when four men barged into their Lincoln apartment. The victim says one of the suspects held a gun to his head and demanded money. Lincoln Police Chief Tom Casady says the suspects then put pillow cases over the victims' heads. Casady says the suspect then sexually assaulted the female victim.
It's the second home invasion this week. Early Monday morning a home was invaded by four men. Police say it's very similar to Tuesday's home invasion of the couple's apartment. Casady describes these suspects as, "violent criminals."
The Police Chief says someone knows something about these crimes and hopes someone will step forward with information that will lead to the arrests.
The victim of Tuesday's crime says he's had enough and is moving. He says, "we're thanking our lucky stars, we're o.k."
The four suspects are still at large.
