When G.L. Wood was in the Korean War the only way for him to talk to his family was over the phone.
Now, Wood is taking advantage of modern technology to send his son in Bosnia a Christmas Greeting.
The American Red Cross and the National Guard have teamed up to help families and friends send video emails to their loved ones overseas.
Each video is two minutes long. They should reach the soldiers by Monday.
This is the second time this year families in Grand Island have been able to send the video emails to soldiers.
