When he was just weeks old, Taylor Wilson of Hastings, was considered a miracle.
Today, the 13-year-old is living a pretty typical life, enjoying inline skating and riding roller coasters.
Taylor was born with five holdes in his heart. He had a condition in which blood didn't flow effectively from his heart to the rest of his body and wasn't expected to live out his first week.
But he did.
A pacemaker was inserted last April after his heart rate slowed. Valves in his heart continue to leak after being repaired during that surgery, so he tires easily and can sleep for hours.
Mom, Sandi, says she has worked hard to make sure Taylor has a normal childhood.
Taylor and Sandi recently got a special treat. They visited Walt Disney World, courtesy of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Nebraska.
