"Basically, we need a coach and we can go from there. Until we get a coach we're kind of like riding the pine." says receiver Isaiah Fluellen.

Fluellen like most of the Huskers are waiting to find out who will be their coach for the 2004 season.

The players answered many questions about their futures as they waited for the luggage to arrive after returning home from San Antonio where they beat the Michigan State Spartans 17 to 3 in Monday night's Alamo Bowl.

There's been a lot of rumors about the coaching situation including Steve Spurrier the former Florida and Washington Redskins coach who resigned Tuesday from the NFL team.

Barrett Ruud, a middle linebacker says he doesn't think Spurrier will come to Nebraska, but he's not sure what to believe anymore. Ruud says he's just going to take time off from football and not worry about the coaching situation.
