An Elm Creek teen was killed and four other people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Buffalo County.
The county sheriff's office says vehicles driven by 28-year-old Brooke Nunns and 17-year-old Braeden Stauffer, both of rural Elm Creek, collided at an intersection east of town.
A passenger in Stauffer's vehicle, 17-year-old Bryce Russell of Elm Creek, died of his injuries at a Kearney hospital.
Both drivers, along with a 15-year-old who was also in Stauffer's car, were taken to a hospital for treatment.
The sheriff's office continues to investigate the crash. An autopsy on Russell's body is scheduled for Monday.
