Lincoln is one of the top digital cities in the nation according to the Center for Digital Government.
Lincoln tied for sixth in cities with populations from 125,000 to 249,000. This is the third consecutive year Lincoln has finished in the top ten.
The award was presented yesterday to Mayor Coleen Seng.
Doug Thomas, manager of the information services division of the City Finance Department, said more than 300 cities participated in the annual study.
The study assesses how local governments use information technology to streamline operations and deliver services. The study looks at the availability of information, forms and services; the ability to send feedback; and information technology management.
